my WRITING

Since childhood I’ve loved to write and it’s a skill that’s been integral to my career. For RVshare, I’m currently researching and writing a series of articles on every state’s top scenic byways. I’m also crafting features for Livability, telling the stories of communities to attract talent, investment and tourism. For the University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Patient Spotlights, I focus on health, treatments and advice. And, I’m the Editor-in-Chief of Beautiful Byways, showcasing curated itineraries for America’s ultimate road trips.

For my videos, I write every script when possible. Most times this includes voiceover but a lot of my work is also first person, documentary style. So, the trick is gathering strong sound bites from interviewees in a format that can then be woven together into a compelling narrative.
