End-of-life care is never easy to talk about, but Linda wants to share her valuable insights. In 2022, her husband, Larry, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, a “silent killer” that frequently shows no symptoms until the disease has spread. To ease Larry’s pain, anxiety, nausea and medication side effects, Linda learned that palliative care enhances a patient's treatment, which improved quality of life for both Larry and his family.
